What the Resolution Looks Like

Remember when I made that resolution to include a fruit or veggie whenever I give the kids something to eat? Well, it’s going okay. When we’re at home, it’s pretty easy. Things like mikan, edamame, or grapes are next to no work for me. If I just set them out there with something else, more often than not the kids will eat them without me saying anything.

Because actual mealtimes can be a big struggle. HRH expects things like this:

For breakfast. This is only part of the meal, actually, because he also had natto and yogurt and fruit. That’s a lot for moi; it’s torture for the kidlets (though Number One did a good job with the sandwiches.)

After snacking, we’re gonna settle into some Scooby Doo time now and solve our ruh-roh problem.

su-buta in a bun? And does he expect this made from scratch – along with the salad and I presume a soup of some description? Gaaaaahhhh. Thank god hub has gotten on board with the cereal and toast thing here!
