So it looks like the tonsils will come out, but they want to make sure her asthma is under control before hand. Hopefully we’ll finally be on our way out of this asthmatic Hades.

I don’t have a time frame for anything yet.

But I feel hopeful that she will get good care, and thankful to live in a country where an outpatient appointment, a nose camera, and 3 x-rays only cost $23.

    Good to maybe see light at the end of the Asthma tunnel. And I agree, very glad to be in country where health care is so cheap for children. Marina’s major surgery and two week hospital stay only cost ‘us’ $200. And you know she will get great care and not be able to leave the hospital until she is pretty much 100%, so even though it will be a longer stay in Japan you wont be going back the day after and the day after that for checks!. xx

    I’m glad you’re able to get good medical care without having to worry so much about the cost. That would be a huge relief, especially compared to countries like mine where medical costs can drive you to bankruptcy.
